FROM DENNIS KUCINICH

Cleveland, Ohio
February 6, 2004

To Whom It May Concern:

This is to enthusiastically recommend David Swanson to your employment.

I worked closely with Mr. Swanson on a daily basis in his capacity as press secretary to my campaign for President of the United States.

He is honest, thorough, hardworking and able to complete even the most demanding tasks expeditiously.

His extraordinary dedication helped to build strong awareness of our campaign in the national media.

He was aggressive in persistently advancing the cause of our campaign to the media and fearlessly reminded media executives of their responsibilities to provide fair and balanced coverage of all candidates. He unselfishly sacrificed so much personal time. I already miss his services. I strongly and unhesitatingly recommend him for his honesty, his sensitivity, his work ethic and his keen intelligence.

If you need further information, please call me at [available on request]. Thank you.

Dennis Kucinich, Democratic candidate for President and Member of Congress.

Greetings from Oregon - a state of many progressives who gave Kucinich 26% of our vote for President and whose state delegates gave their vote to Kucinich during the dem convention last year.

I first became acquainted with the writings of Mr. Swanson at same time that I was learning about the views of Presidential candidate, Rep Dennis Kucinich.
To read David's articles was a way to read into the soul of Dennis.
I followed both these honorable men while they relentlessly continued to advance the progressive agenda during that first year of campaigning. A year of ridicule and ommission by national media that must have been hard to swallow - but they kept on and were able to do so because there is a certain honest power that comes with speaking reasonable truth.
Progressives everywhere owe so very - very much to David's writings which captured Dennis's message of hope - showing Americans that there are other possibilities than what this neocon administration handed us.

During times of my own personal horror over US invading Iraq, I found that I was able to smile while reading David's press releases and articles about Dennis.
These two were never giving up and it gave me strength to continue fighting against an opppressive US admin and media.

Peace is possible !
